## Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- Q: What is a "cool spot"?
A: A cool spot is an indoor location — a department store, library, or neighborhood activity center, for example — that the Ministry of Environment has catalogued during heatwaves because it offers air conditioning, seating, or drinking water, giving the public a nearby place to cool down and rest during extreme heat.
- Q: How do I know whether a cool spot has air conditioning or accessible facilities?
A: Each listing's "Facility information" field states whether that location offers air conditioning, restrooms, seating, drinking water, and accessible facilities, so users can choose a location that fits their needs.
